gws-personal is a private tool operated by Edison Wang for use with the owner's own Google account only. This policy describes how it accesses, uses, stores and shares Google user data.
Data is used only to carry out tasks the account owner starts on their own computer, such as finding an email, saving an attachment, preparing a draft, managing a file or looking up a contact. It is not used for advertising, profiling or any purpose other than these tasks.
OAuth tokens are stored encrypted on the owner's computer. Files and messages are stored only where the owner chooses to save them on their own devices. The tool has no server and keeps no copy of Google user data elsewhere.
Google user data is not sold and is not shared with any other person. When the owner asks an AI assistant service to carry out one of the tasks above, the data needed for that task is sent to that service for processing. Data is transferred only for tasks the owner requests, and for no other purpose.
The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access stops all further data access. Locally saved tokens can be deleted with gws auth logout.
